LEGO Jango Fett LEGO Star Wars Figure

Everyone remembers Boba Fett from the original Star Wars films. The greatest Bounty Hunter in the galaxy is very popular among fans of the Star Wars films and everyone wants to dress up as Boba Fett on Halloween. It is important to remember however that Boba Fett is just a clone of the original great Bounty Hunter - Jango Fett.

There is only one appearance by the LEGO Jango Fett in the series of Star Wars LEGOs and that is in Jango Fett's Slave I 7153 LEGO set. This is an awesome version of the famous Slave I starship and looks great when completed. The set includes two LEGO Star Wars figures - Jango Fett himself and a young LEGO Boba Fett. These two characters combined typically fetch north of $50 for the pair and can be very difficult to find in complete shape even at that price. Jango Fett comes with two pistols and his removable helmet while Boba simply comes with his mean mug.
With these two Star Wars LEGO mini figures you can recreate the scene from Episode II: The Attack of the Clones when the pair were chased by Obi-Wan Kenobi and where Jango was ultimately beheaded by Mace Windu.

While Jango Fett finally lost his life to Jedi, his clone / son would go on to play a huge role in later films and take his fathers place as the greatest Bounty Hunter in the galaxy. Also the Clone army were also all clones of Jango Fett so his legacy definitaly lived on long after his death at the hands of Mace Windu.

Typically the best way to find a LEGO Jango Fett is from auction sites like eBay. You can either by just the LEGO mini figure or you can try to go after the entire 7153 Jango Fett's Slave 1 set but be ready to open up your wallet for that.

Darth Maul LEGO Star Wars Figure

The Darth Maul LEGO Star Wars figure is a very popular minifigure for the Star Wars LEGO series. The LEGO Darth Maul minifig is only available in the Phantom Menace LEGO sets and so is somewhat a rare LEGO minifig because all of the LEGO sets from the Phantom Menace series are discontinued as of now.

Darth Maul was initially a Jedi in training but was kidnapped by the evil Darth Sidious as a very young child. He was then heavily tattoed in Sith runes and then trained to be a very lethal Sith warrior. Sidious then had Darth Maul go on a killing spree taking out many high ranking figures in the Star Wars novels.

In the Phantom Menace, Darth Maul is commissioned to kidnap Queen Padme and to destroy two of the Jedi on planet Tatooine. He is not able to complete this task. Darth Maul is able to finally kill Qui-Gon Jinn in the films last battle scene but subsequently felled by a young Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Darth Maul appears in the following Star Wars LEGO Sets:

Lightsaber Duel 7101
Sith Infiltrator 7151
Sith Infiltrator 7663

Darth Maul does not appear in any later LEGO Star Wars building block sets but is in the later timelines of the Star Wars saga as far as the novels are concerned. Maul is cloned by a certain evil group and is sent on a mission to kill Darth Vader. Vader is able to destroy Darth Maul however.

LEGO Star Wars Figures

LEGO Star Wars figures are possibly the most popular feature of Star Wars LEGO sets. Many fans of the Star Wars theme dedicate their time collecting just the mini figures that come with Star Wars LEGOs.

There are quite a few reason to target collecting LEGO Star Wars figures. Many toys based on the Star Wars films are very collectible and worth more money than what they originally sold for. This is true for the LEGO Star Wars themed sets as well. The LEGO Group has a tendency to only sell LEGO sets for a certain period of time. Then LEGO discontinues the set. If it is a particularly popular set, or becomes a popular set overtime, the price can inflate.

With the price of a Star Wars LEGO set inflating the prices of the mini figures inflate as well. Many Star Wars LEGO figures can go for as much as ten dollars a piece on popular auction sites. A great example of a rare star wars LEGO figure is the Jango Fett mini figure. LEGO Jango Fett is included in Jango Fett's Slave I LEGO set. This is the only LEGO set that includes the Jango Fett mini figure. Because of this, Jango Fett can sell for as much as $35 for just the mini figure on eBay.
Another very popular LEGO figures is the LEGO Asajj Ventress. Asajj Ventress was trained by Count Dooku himself and is very skilled with her light sabers. These light sabers came from Komari Vosa and were gifts from Count Dooku. The LEGO Asajj Ventress is included in the 7676 Star Wars LEGO Set.

One idea for finding LEGO Star Wars figures is by learning how to search eBay for those auctions that include rare LEGO sets. Many sellers sell in bulk because they simply do not know how to parse out their LEGO collections. With these bulk, or Lot, auctions, you can find an amazing deal for some of the more rare Star Wars LEGO sets.
